Consisting of work I’ve done over the past 2 years as a student, as a freelancer and as an intern at Territory Studio.
This reel features Motion Design, Ui Design, VR, Cinematography, Client work and experimental pieces.
Being an avid fan of Microsoft’s products, in particular Windows 10, as soon as I saw the Microsoft surface brief in this years D&AD New Blood awards page. I was interested.
After looking at the brief, a few key pieces of information really struck me, which included “Microsoft and Microsoft Surface mean infinite possibility” “New ways to create, collaborate, and the power to achieve” “Immersive, emotive, magic” “Infinite creative possibilities”.
Taking these what I deciphered to be the main points of this brief on board, I started to generate multiple concepts along with researching into the ethos of Microsoft surface, of which I whittled down to this:
Showing off the power harnessed by the Microsoft Surface line of products whilst keeping an audience engaged.
The idea put simply was creating and showing traditional based media scenes and linking them all to the Microsoft Surface line, through a thread which was sparked by the idea of infinite creative possibilities amalgamated with there being threads in central processing units in all machines. And through this purveying that every form of traditional design, media and craftsmanship can be recreated using the powerful line of Microsoft Surface products.
The idea behind this project was to create an immersive, evoking, eyecatching and thoughtful piece of animation, and turn it into a multi faceted campaign, that works on multiple levels, on multiple platforms,
whether it be traditional TV advertisements or based on social media and digital billboards.

Facades was my response to my final major project for my BA Graphic Design & Animation at The University of Huddersfield.
Facades was an exploration into the facade and accompanied fickleness of our over reliance of technology and how within an instant this whole technologically advanced society could be turned on it’s head. leaving us with a dystopia.
Inspired by the spike of hacks & exploits crippling our current times, such as WannaCry, I wanted to explore futuristic implications of similar situations. Facades is set in a Utopia where everyone is ever more interconnected than we are now.

Whilst interning and then Freelancing at Territory Studio, I had the magnificent opportunity to work on Rupert Sanders: Ghost in the Shell.
My roles varied from working on initial concepts of 3D Holographs to working on received assets. Which entailed exporting received assets for use in Territory Studio's pipeline, colour grading received film footage to forward it to the VFX team, and working on holographic assets to push them forward to other designers.

Mr Robot 360 is a virtual reality project, which was created as promotional marketing material for season 2 of Mr Robot. Whilst working on this project I was part of a larger team at Territory Studio. I was tasked with creating multiple assets for this immersive experience which included billboards, data, data distortions, and mappable 2D and 3D assets.
Whilst working as a Motion & Graphic designer at Team Hud, I had the opportunity to work on some exciting creative pieces for fitness events such as Les Mills classes, create all the in-house graphics and finally having the opportunity to direct, shoot and edit the Team Hud promotional video for 2017.
Rich N Rude, an impressive and exciting new venture into the fashion industry.
I was contacted by the CEO's of Rich N Rude to capture content for their initial launch campaign.
This consisted of both a Promotional video and on set photography, to display the lifestyle and capture the essence of Rich n Rude's customer base.
The created content was used in both social media campaigns, along with being displayed on Rich N Rude's website.
Motion Cloning was a 360 VR fashion project I worked on whilst at Territory Studio.
Motion Cloning artistically explored 360 and editorial content for the fashion industry. Alongside the potential of 360 video as a tool for the fashion industry which is certainly getting more popular due to 360 support on multiple channels.
My Roles during this project entailed Rotoscoping and Compositing.
Shaks Specialist Cars set me a brief to create a short Instagram campaign along side onsite photography. To encourage dealer visits
The idea generated was to display the wide range of sports and exotic cars stored by Shaks Specialist Cars whilst capturing their new Premises and emphasising their slogan " living the dream, driving the dream."
This Reel is a short compilation of some of the fun and exciting clients I had the magnificent opportunity to create both Graphics and Motion Design for, whilst working at Brilliant Social Media.

Fun render tests, consisting of objects contained within a set parameter and different environments. In this instance; Objects in singular "bio domes".
This was an experimentation of form, colour and render techniques.
Chickanos set me the brief to create animations to bring their current flat menus to life in an enticing and entertaining manner. These animations were created to be displayed on in-store horizontal and vertical displays, along with the ability to use these animation's on multiple social media platforms.
Working alongside the talented Scott Spencer, This was our response to a YCN brief. The brief was set to raise awareness of the all new hydrogen powered Toyota Mirai.
We started with Creating an Ad Campaign which came through rigorous hours of research and development. The Idea was to start from beyond the sub atomic realm and work our way up to the Toyota Mirai. The concept was to attain the viewers attention through a Refined set of visuals and carefully selected music.
We then went onto bringing this campaign idea Snapchat and Instagram, making sure we used the same visual language along all mediums to raise awareness for the Toyota Mirai.
Graduates First requested a video to tutorial series to promote their services such as work personality questionnaires, situational judgement tests and ability tests . This project involved creating Ident's, Filming and post compositing, and an outro.
